Sustainability
For us, responsibility is a matter of honour, and therefore we want to act as responsibly as possible. Always. That's why we've made sustainability a core part of our business and why we're constantly working to find new ways to be even more responsible.
We believe that investments in sustainability pay off in many different ways. That's why sustainability is not just a buzzword for us, it is a state of mind and a documented way of doing things.
We invest in improving our processes and technologies to make products with the lowest possible waste from all angles.
The ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification is a testament to our long-term commitment to high quality. Our product design and manufacturing methods are always based on meeting the customer's needs as efficiently as possible.
We also pay particular attention to resource consumption and, among other things, all materials are either used in end products or recycled. We also minimise the amount of packaging materials.
Solar energy also produces a large part of the electricity we use and the heat generated by our processes is recovered.
The company's high-level objective is to ensure a safe working environment for employees and the continuation of production. Health and safety risks are carefully assessed and the safety of workers is prioritised through risk analyses and internal audits, where any risks found are quickly corrected.
When it comes to safety at work, we aim to have a zero-tolerance policy for accidents and everyone has a responsibility to take immediate action to address any safety hazards they identify.
The company's activities are described in a single process diagram that helps everyone understand the importance of their contribution and reminds us of the importance of internal relationships.
A carbon handprint is the positive climate impact of a product, process or service, i.e. the potential for emission reductions for the user. When a government, company, association or individual produces a carbon handprint for its "customer", the customer's own carbon footprint is reduced. A large carbon handprint is a good thing.
We want to offer our customers the highest possible carbon handprint by producing large packages with efficient processes, using solar energy and minimising emissions from transport. We also use the heat generated from our operations very efficiently to heat our buildings.
We follow and comply with regulations and sanctions imposed by the Council of the European Union (EU) regarding the origin of iron and steel products, among other things.
We are committed to following and developing responsible corporate governance. From processes and policies to contracts, schedules and deliveries, corporate responsibility applies to everything we do.
Open dialogue and transparency are the hallmarks of our business. We take the initiative to provide our staff and other stakeholders with accurate information about our objectives and activities.
Management is committed to an ethically sustainable way of doing business. The company employs a significant number of people from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds, and we always do our best to accommodate their diverse needs.
