AhoSteel will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2024. The company has achieved a solid position in the Finnish manufacturing industry through decades of experience and uncompromising customer focus.
Founded by Jari Aho in 1984, the company has grown from a one-man business to an internationally serving engineering company with a turnover of around €5 million. Our operations are characterised by long-term partnerships and customers committed to cooperation.
Accountability is built into everything we do. We invest in development and identify internal competences. We are committed to helping others, both as individuals and as a company. We will only enable continuity and development through profitable business, which stems from a customer-centric approach.
For us, sustainability reporting is not a compulsory requirement, but a genuine competitive advantage that we are committed to developing over the long term and whose value we see in our operations every day.
Bureau Veritas Certification has awarded AhoSteel ISO9001 certification for the sale, design and contract manufacturing of metal products and the sale, design and manufacture of heavy vehicle platforms.
The technologies included in the manufacturing processes are laser cutting, edging, welding, machining, wet and powder painting, assembly and 3D scanning. With these technologies, our company is able to manufacture products from start to finish in-house, using our own facilities and processes. We are honoured and grateful for this honour.
Karkkila Entrepreneurs' Association chose Jari Aho - founder and principal owner of AhoSteel - together with his wife Marja Tykkyläinen as Karkkila Entrepreneur of the Year 2018. And not without reason.

. The one-man business has grown to employ 50 people in Karkkila, which is a great and honourable achievement. The company is currently in the process of building a major new production facility, which will provide a good framework for the growth of the company and our region as a whole. An entrepreneur must have courage and vision when it comes to such a major investment. And Jari Ahol has never lacked courage during his entrepreneurial career.
